Not that long ago the colour grey would be probably more office than cozy home – but no more! If it wasn’t big enough in interior design so far, it is now!
It probably doesn’t help that grey used to be associated with gloominess and boring – but actually, colour grey can be so rewarding to use! Probably the best thing about it is that is gives you a beautiful and elegant canvass to create any mood you want for your home.
Before you choose complementing colours, it’s good to know that no grey is the same: the “shades” of grey can be obtained mixing either original neutral proportions of black and white, or you can have warm greys (with yellow base in the mix) or cool grays (with blue).
Use it in kitchens and bathrooms – you get a feeling of clean, living spaces and bathrooms – calmness, peace, overall or detail – elegance and sophistication 
Grey can be also an ideal breaking colour if you want to use more dramatic accents, such as red walls or orange accessories.
